Saturday was a day well spent. The ISKCON society of Copenhagen organized a Festival of India which turned out to be great fun. It also conveyed nice message about adopting Vegetarianism and not harming the animals. The festival, as one would associate with India, was full of colours; including great dance performances, some funny plays and a hilarious Magic show amongst the chants of Hare Rama, Hare Krishna keertan to which all ended dancing to, tranced perhaps for thats the magic music creates :)
The festival celebrated Lord Jagganath's Rath Yatra with the God's Rath (Lord Jagganath's Chariot) being carried around the city in the same fun filled, joyous and festive manner as it is in the holy city of Puri. The procession started from the Kogens Nytrov and ended up at Radhuspladen, the city square where all the remaining events took place.
The sky was overcast and it rained quite heavily during the function, but the crowd response was awesome, just like the festival. Here are some of the pictures from the event. I have some videos as well which I will be posting later :)

The Rain god then decided to shower his blessing, people took shelter wherever they could; even beneath the stage. Of course there were some lucky ones with umbrellas; and as for myself, well I decided to enjoy the raindrops for its been a while being soaked in the heavenly waters.
Now some pics of Ras Bihari Devi whose Bharatanatyam performance was brilliant and probably the top drawer of the event.

I know what attracted you; prior information about food and some good faces, besides some guys of primate kind sitting beneath the tables. Food aur chhori to fir bhi samajh aata hai but bandon ki photo hmm, hope CHG is not known for its share of people who love people of same kind.
